The holidays are right around the corner and it’s time to start buying presents for your loved ones if you haven’t already. Whether you’re buying for a vegan, or non-vegan, buying cruelty-free gifts for the holidays is good for everyone, especially the animals!
Vegan Doc Martens
I have a pair of these and though they are expensive, they are amazing. You can just tell how well made they are just by looking at them. Plus, Doc Martens are classics, which means they will forever be in style. BUY HERE.
The holidays are so stressful sometimes, receiving a spa kit or just a couple bath bombs and a face mask would make me so happy. You could get a cute basket from a Target or even a thrift store if you want to be even greener, put all of your favorite cruelty-free products in it and put a bow on it! Simple and cute af. I love Lush, they are cruelty-free and even label their products vegan and nonvegan so it’s simple. There’s also the Yes to Brand, they are cruelty-free and have amazing face masks, along with other skincare products. Or something fun would be to make your own bath bombs! Here’s a recipe from HelloGlow.co that looks AMAZING!
Loads of people start going vegan in January for #Veganuary, so why not buy some cookbooks with helpful recipes for new and old vegans to try?! Even if they aren’t vegan, they might find a couple of good recipes they like and that will be one less meal without animal products. I really like Thug Kitchen: The Official Cookbook: Eat Like You Give a F*ck, Veganomicon: The Ultimate Vegan Cookbook ( I got both of those last year), and one I have wanted to try is This Cheese is Nuts! by Julie Piatt.
A Subscription to VegNews Magazine
For vegans and nonvegans, everyone loves magazines. One year of issues costs only $20!!! It really is the gift that keeps on giving. Get it HERE.
Get your friends their favorite vegan snacks! I personally would love to get a homemade fruit and nut mix, or some homemade vegan cookies (Yum!). If you don’t have time to be Martha Stewart and make treats, you could pick some up at the store. I really like Cocomels, which are vegan coconut milk caramels, and I also love Louisville Vegan Jerky.
Sorry, this post is soo short guys! I wanted to get something up but was running short on time. This week was a crazy week for me, I had two papers to write, 5 quizzes, one big presentation, and a final exam. But the good news is, I think I’m graduating! Woohoo! I say I think because my advisor hasn’t gotten back to me in almost a month, #CommunityCollege, and on my degree progress report, it says I need to more hours of electives but then also tells me I’m good to graduate. Hopefully, I am graduating and will officially have my Associates Degree. Cross your fingers!!!
Thanks so much for reading, I really hope you enjoyed this post!
Leave a comment telling me either something you are giving or something you are asking for, for the holiday season.
